Dan Wilde has been performing his own brand of richly observant folk both in the UK and around the world for the past seven years. And in that time, he’s developed a growing fan-base and a reputation amongst those who know as «a fantastic songwriting talent who without a doubt will deserve and demand your attention” (Eclectically Challenged).
Three studio albums in, the evidence is clear he’s an extraordinary songsmith, while his ‘stunning’ guitar playing (Maverick Magazine) has led to an endorsement from Fylde guitars. Previous releases, ’This Is The Place’ (2010) and ‘With Fire in Mind’ (2013), cemented his reputation as a fine songsmith, while his third album ‘Rhythm on the City Wall’ (2017) have taken things to the next level, securing him a contract with Wild Sound (One Little Indian) and premier folk booking agency Strada. It was also listed in Proper Distributions top 100 albums of 2016, across all genres.
Chris Fox is a professional musician living and working in Cambridge, England. Singer songwriter, performer and session musician Chris has been a full time artist since May 2016 when he left the corporate world behind to pursue a career in music. Chris has been playing guitar since his teens, but only started song writing and performing in early 2014.
Starting out at open mic nights Chris crafted his stage presence in and around Cambridge. To date his accomplishments are plentiful including interviews and live performances on BBC radio Cambridgeshire, International radio airplay, opening for Fairport Convention and support for Boo Hewerdine, Sean Roberts & Kathryn Lakeman, Brookes Williams, Lucy Ward and Ange Hardy to name but a few and he has quickly progressed to bookings further afield at Folk Festivals and Clubs both in support roles and increasingly as a headliner.
Growing up in a musical family and spending the majority of her childhood years toddling around her mother's music school, it was only natural that Emi should have a love for music. Though her background training was largely classical, Emi always harboured a love for the singer/songwriter genres. Thanks to a challenge set by a 'Rock Choir' leader at age 14, Emi began songwriting. This was the beginning.
Since then, Emi has performed on stages such as BBC Introducing, Ronnie Scott's, Guildhall, Sofar Sounds, Thekla, The Bedford, and many others, headlining the Acoustic Stage of Dot to Dot Festival, as well as supporting artists such as JP Cooper, Mike Dignam, Tom Crouch, Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker, and performed alongside artists such as Jasmine Thompson. With recent singles, Emi has received extensive radio play throughout the UK, Australia, and America (as well as regular play on BBC and BBC Introducing), sold out her first headline shows, and became a featured artist on Noel Edmund's new radio 'Positively Talented'.
